WASTE MANAGEMENT POLICY

  • If selling food and/or drinks you MUST SERVE FOOD USING COMPOSTABLE DRINK AND FOOD CONTAINERS AND EATING UTENSILS.
  • Please note that the Illawarra Folk Festival enforces a strict Waste Management Policy.
  • It is your responsibility to have enough supplies for the entire festival
  • Stalls selling craft, clothing etc must use paper or compostable bags.
  • All stalls will be audited for their compliance with our Waste Management Policy.

    We will send you a complete Waste Management Plan with your acceptance information in November.

STAFFING

Stall prices include the following total number festival passes for staff:

Food Stalls - maximum of 4 Passes for the weekend. All other stall types: maximum of 2 Passes for the weekend

Extra staff passes will be sold at a discount ticket price of $100 each, it is essential to purchase these for all extra staff.

HOURS OF OPERATIONS

Food Vendors are expected to operate in line with these operating hours

Thursday 14th January    Afternoon    6pm onwards (Food Vendors only)

Friday     15th January      Afternoon   3pm - midnight 

Saturday 16th January      All day       8am - midnight 

Sunday   17th January      All Day       8am - 10pm

 

Coffee Vans Only: 

Thursday 14th January     Afternoon  6pm - 11pm  

Monday    18th January     Morning    8am - lunch time

Proceeds will be shared between the Illawarra Folk Festival and Local Community Band

FURTHER DOCUMENTATION

You will be required to submit the following documentation at the time of approval. 

  • Insurance Certificate (Food Stalls only)
  • Authority Permit Number from Wollongong City Council
  • Food Safety Certificate 

A Bump in / Bump out schedule will be prepared and emailed to successful applicants in January prior to the Festival
There is a requirement for a limited number of food vendors to be available on Thursday evening to support the Charity night together with Greenacres Disability Services. Please indicate here is you would be available on Thursday evening 6pm - 9pm
